God touches my heart with photography....

Glad sometimes I can do the same with my clients. (*tears) Thank you for sharing Leah =)

Leah sent me this message on my facebook....

Today would've been my Mamaw's 81st birthday. We lost her in December. So, my aunt wrote on my facebook wall that she loves that picture of me and her mom. I wrote her back and said I love it too and I wonder if wedding photographers know how much their work really means. So I decided to pass this on to you!!! I'm so incredibly thankful for all of the pictures I have with her...especially on my wedding day. Your work really means everything...THANK YOU

It's true you know...

If you draw nigh to him, he will draw nigh to you.
Things keep getting sweeter between me and him. Thanks to God for never leaving me, even in my dark times.

Verse 1:
When He moves among us all that He does
all of His mercy and all of His love
and the pen of the writer could write everyday
even this world could never contain
how I've been blessed

Verse 2:
The warmth in winter the flowers in spring
the laughter in summer and the changing of leaves
the food on my table a good place to sleep
clothes on my back and shoes on my feet
I have been blessed

Chorus:
I have been blessed God's so good to me
**precious are His thoughts of you and me**
no way I could count them there's not enough time
so I'll just thank Him for being so kind
God has been good so good
I have been blessed

Verse 3:
Arms that will raise a voice that can talk
hands that can touch and legs that can walk
ears that can listen eyes that can see
oh I've got to praise Him as long as I breathe
I have been blessed

Verse 4:
A father and mother who nurtured and raised
a brother and sisters, memories made
our pastor to lead us the altar to pray
stripes that can heal the blood that can save
I have been blessed

Verse 5:
We live in a country the greatest on earth
our flag stands for freedom and what it is worth
she stands in the harbor Miss Liberty calls
all have gave some but some have gave all
for me to be blessed

Verse 6:
**He's my shoulder to lean on when I am down
the rock where He leads me when I'm overwhelmed
the place where He hides me under His wings**
He's not just a song He's the reason I sing
I have been blessed

Camp Meeting at our chruch

I am receiving help....

Isaiah 61:3
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

He gives beauty for ashes
Strength for fear
Gladness for mourning
Peace for despair

When sorrow seems to surround you
When suffering hangs heavy oer your head
Know that tomorrow brings
Wholeness and healing
God knows your need
Just believe what He said

He gives beauty for ashes
Strength for fear
Gladness for mourning
Peace for despair

When what youve done keeps you from moving on
When fear wants to make itself at home in your heart
Know that forgiveness brings
Wholeness and healing
God knows your need
Just believe what He said

He gives beauty for ashes
Strength for fear
Gladness for mourning
Peace for despair

I once was lost but God has found me
Though I was bound Ive been set free
Ive been made righteous in His sight
A display of His splendor all can see

He gives beauty for ashes
Strength for fear
Gladness for mourning
Peace for despair

Finished: April and Ryan

I had the wonderful privilege of photographing one of my friend's weddings. It was so nice to share this moment with her. God is so good to answer your prayers April.

Now this is talent, texting while you get your makeup and hair done =)

Oh the things I'll say to get a good laugh going (insert evil grin here)

When the photographer says to stop doing something or you might become famous..... it's a good idea to stop =)

Clair you really shouldn't leave Greg alone.....

See what happens

The groom, April take note.... HE'S NOT DOING THE FACE! =)

July

Dear Brother,
This was the last full month I shared with you last year. It's been a long time. I miss you.
I'd sure like one of those hard bunches in the arm that you used to give me, I promise I wouldn't complain if you were here to give it.

About Me

My photo
Wife, mother, photographer based out of Dayton Ohio. Will travel =) I believe in love. I cry when I see it’s presence in photographs of people I don’t even know. I believe love can be touched with the eyes as they move across the well told story of a photograph. That’s what I want to do… I want to tell love stories with my photographs.
I know Jesus in my heart and through him I know how to change lives. All the beauty I see is because of the stability and inspiration of my home life. Family is so very important to me. They are what makes me complete, my foundation and my encouragement. It is because of them that I know a great love story while looking through a lens.
