Eve and Chris' little pink bundle!

Eve and Chris your little girl couldn't be more beautiful! When I was editing these my heart just melted. I couldn't believe all that black hair! I could have just squeezed her right up LOL! Thanks so much for having me out! I'm working on the engagement session as well and hope to have a preview up from that soon! Enjoy:

God is the most amazing artist

Everywhere I go, it seems I see stuff I want to photograph. I have a wonderful friend who once told me that as a photographer I should be able to see the art of life and I took that to heart.
Here lately the sky has caught my eye. This past month has had some of the most amazing skies ever and I can't help but wonder if God paints these beautiful scenes just for photographers, who while driving find themselves in awe and pull the car off the lonely country road and whip out the camera to capture shots like these:

Sigh.... I'm glad I had my camera with me.

Where my heart is....

You'll find it safely tucked away in the tiny hands of my children or in the dimples of my husband's smile. God has given me many blessing but none so great as what I have when I stumble through the front door with 30lbs of equipment strapped to my neck lol! Oh but when I hear those little voices and the sound of fat baby feet slapping the hard wood floor as they run to me, it's then that I know I am truly home....
What I have here is why I can do all that I do. Thank you God for the greatest gift of all, my family!

Here are a few of my personal moments:

So I get summoned to the bathroom with a "MOOOOOOOOMY! Come in here and close your eyes!" This is what I find... a drawing of me and Daddy. It's just so precious.

A few nights ago my oldest was outside playing when he spotted this. He ran in screaming "RUN GUYS RUN!!! YOU GOTTA COME SEE THIS!" He's so very dramatic, but I knew it was important to him so I grabbed the camera and I must say it was a good find. It was right above us.

It's finally here!!!

Amanda's preview! I'm super busy guys but I wanted you to know that it was so great how God has crossed our paths and I'm sure that even after the wedding we'll stay in touch. You guys have a wonderful love story and I can't wait to see what the future will hold for you in Missouri!

This one is my fav!

Love this one too

Oh wait maybe this one is my fav

See you guys soon!

Michael's senior session

It was so nice working with this family. The best part of the whole session was when Michael's Dad pulled me off to the side and asked if I thought I could talk Michael into taking a picture with him. Made my heart melt. This is a sweet family!

What a cuttie!

I tried out some texture on this one

I bet you guys didn't know I own a digital body shop LOL Michael, I think the truck turned out nice even though it's still "under construction" LOL

Aww I love this one!

Beth and Kyle's wedding preview!

Beth and Kyle, you guys are great! Whenever I write my blogs I usually don't say much about the groom, but in this case I just can't resist. One of the best parts of this wedding was standing off to on the side lines watching Kyle do everything he could to rescue Beth. I could tell he wanted to make this day everything that she had ever dreamt of and he would do anything to make that dream come true. I could see the stress of the big day was taking a tole on them both but I also watched it all fade away as she walked down that aisle and they locked eyes. It was like watching an incredibly romantic movie for the distance of the aisle, everything and everyone else ceased to exist and they were lost in a once in a lifetime moment, a moment that most people live their whole life waiting to experience. It was amazing and yes, Beth, I did cry...
Thank you both so much for inspiring me. You remind me of why I love what I do!

I think a rainy day is beautiful (not to mention those ROCKIN shoes) ;)

Beth, wow you are so beautiful!

And Kyle, you're not so bad yourself

GIRL you know how to rock a camera LOL

Adorable flower girls make my job easy

You guys suit each other so well

Adorable

Love this one

This is my favorite

I tried out the video light and it really did give this shot an extra boost of romantic lighting, like I needed it with these two LOL (Trace, if you are reading let me know what you think)

Gotta love a fun group

Just a beautiful bride

Another one of my favorites!

About Me

My photo
Wife, mother, photographer based out of Dayton Ohio. Will travel =) I believe in love. I cry when I see it’s presence in photographs of people I don’t even know. I believe love can be touched with the eyes as they move across the well told story of a photograph. That’s what I want to do… I want to tell love stories with my photographs.
I know Jesus in my heart and through him I know how to change lives. All the beauty I see is because of the stability and inspiration of my home life. Family is so very important to me. They are what makes me complete, my foundation and my encouragement. It is because of them that I know a great love story while looking through a lens.
