Michael's senior session

It was so nice working with this family. The best part of the whole session was when Michael's Dad pulled me off to the side and asked if I thought I could talk Michael into taking a picture with him. Made my heart melt. This is a sweet family!

What a cuttie!

I tried out some texture on this one

I bet you guys didn't know I own a digital body shop LOL Michael, I think the truck turned out nice even though it's still "under construction" LOL

Beth and Kyle's wedding preview!

Beth and Kyle, you guys are great! Whenever I write my blogs I usually don't say much about the groom, but in this case I just can't resist. One of the best parts of this wedding was standing off to on the side lines watching Kyle do everything he could to rescue Beth. I could tell he wanted to make this day everything that she had ever dreamt of and he would do anything to make that dream come true. I could see the stress of the big day was taking a tole on them both but I also watched it all fade away as she walked down that aisle and they locked eyes. It was like watching an incredibly romantic movie for the distance of the aisle, everything and everyone else ceased to exist and they were lost in a once in a lifetime moment, a moment that most people live their whole life waiting to experience. It was amazing and yes, Beth, I did cry...
Thank you both so much for inspiring me. You remind me of why I love what I do!

I think a rainy day is beautiful (not to mention those ROCKIN shoes) ;)

Beth, wow you are so beautiful!

And Kyle, you're not so bad yourself

How the Lord can change a day

I can actually see the Lord working in these two pictures:

This is the scene when I pull up at 10am. I immediately pray in my head and ask the Lord to change the weather so we can do some shots outside.

1 pm I head out with the guys to this! Isn't God wonderful!

P.S. Beth and Kyle I'm working away on the pics and should have a preview up soon!

Leah and Nathan

It was a chance meeting during college, maybe it was a glimpse of familiarity or the dance of the light from the bond fire that drew them to each other. Whatever the circumstances it was all that was needed to plant a tiny seed of love in their hearts that over the course of time has blossomed into a beautiful relationship.
My favorite part about their love story: These two went to the same high school together but because it was such a large school they didn't know each other. Years later Leah was sorting through old pictures from school and found a picture of them together! Evidently Nathan had been crowned prom king and Leah (an underclassman) ran up to get her picture with"The Prom King". Not even knowing years later he would be "The Groom" and she "The Bride". Isn't that a cool! I cracked up =)
I had a great time with you guys and I can't wait for your wedding!
So here is the beautiful engaged couple's preview:

Love this one

They are so fun!

And steamy.

Love the lighting in the next two

Look at all this beautiful light

About Me

My photo
Wife, mother, photographer based out of Dayton Ohio. Will travel =) I believe in love. I cry when I see it’s presence in photographs of people I don’t even know. I believe love can be touched with the eyes as they move across the well told story of a photograph. That’s what I want to do… I want to tell love stories with my photographs.
I know Jesus in my heart and through him I know how to change lives. All the beauty I see is because of the stability and inspiration of my home life. Family is so very important to me. They are what makes me complete, my foundation and my encouragement. It is because of them that I know a great love story while looking through a lens.
