Ok, Trav came with me and during the wedding he was my second shooter and he did such a great job. I was off to the side and he shot from the back and this is a great shot he got of the first married kiss
Oh and he thinks he is clever: He took this one and said it means "wedding photographer" LOL what a dork!
Ok so I've been thinking about some cool ideas to try out and I really want to do a photo shoot with the guys and I think these canes and top hats would be fun. (Leah Patton this would be great for your wedding) Look into it and if any of my grooms want to try it out get it contact with me and we'll get it together.

It's 2:30 am and I'm up working, it's raining and I'm thinking 'bout stuff so how 'bout some Purdy: I love this song:
This wedding was at the The Learning Place and it was a beautiful day. I just couldn't believe it. The entire week leading up to the wedding, it rained everyday, so I was fully prepared for rain. The day came and there wasn't even a rain cloud in sight! It was great. Jessica and AJ, you guys and all your family and friends made me feel right at home. I love all photography but I have always adored wedding and engagement sessions and have always thought that nothing else would come close but I was wrong lol! I have found a new passion.... maternity sessions! I loved doing my session with Erin and I'm trying to build my portfolio up so I am offering specials to anyone who books a maternity session this month! Everywhere I go, it seems I see stuff I want to photograph. I have a wonderful friend who once told me that as a photographer I should be able to see the art of life and I took that to heart. Here lately the sky has caught my eye. This past month has had some of the most amazing skies ever and I can't help but wonder if God paints these beautiful scenes just for photographers, who while driving find themselves in awe and pull the car off the lonely country road and whip out the camera to capture shots like these:
You'll find it safely tucked away in the tiny hands of my children or in the dimples of my husband's smile. God has given me many blessing but none so great as what I have when I stumble through the front door with 30lbs of equipment strapped to my neck lol! Oh but when I hear those little voices and the sound of fat baby feet slapping the hard wood floor as they run to me, it's then that I know I am truly home.... What I have here is why I can do all that I do. Thank you God for the greatest gift of all, my family!

So I get summoned to the bathroom with a "MOOOOOOOOMY! Come in here and close your eyes!" This is what I find... a drawing of me and Daddy. It's just so precious.
A few nights ago my oldest was outside playing when he spotted this. He ran in screaming "RUN GUYS RUN!!! YOU GOTTA COME SEE THIS!" He's so very dramatic, but I knew it was important to him so I grabbed the camera and I must say it was a good find. It was right above us.

I believe in love. I cry when I see it’s presence in photographs of people I don’t even know. I believe love can be touched with the eyes as they move across the well told story of a photograph. That’s what I want to do… I want to tell love stories with my photographs.
I know Jesus in my heart and through him I know how to change lives. All the beauty I see is because of the stability and inspiration of my home life. Family is so very important to me. They are what makes me complete, my foundation and my encouragement. It is because of them that I know a great love story while looking through a lens.
