Ok seriously.... I'm looking up stuff for the renaming of my business so I go to the thesaurus to find some new word for lady, girl or woman and looky what I found.... I just can't believe what the thesaurus says is a synonym for lady, I've been so kind as to bold my favorites:
I am so blessed to have had a wonderful year in photography! I have met some amazing people and been to some great places. Never could I have imagined that photography would have given me so many oppurtunities. Not only has God given me more than enough clients but He also has given me an abundence of new friends and many chances to experience the love and support of those friends.
2008 was a very hard year for me personally and I know if I didn't have the love from some of you that I wouldn't have made it through. So while I will always look back on this year with sorrow, I will also remember how these trials have made my relationship with Christ stronger, how these trials have made my heart more tender and the place that these trials make me the woman I am today. So with all the tears and smiles of 2008: It's going to take a bit to load though.
I've missed you all very much! However I am catching up on some much needed family time (oh and some VERY much needed house cleaning lol). It must be working cause I have a wedding in about 30 minutes and here I am just as relaxed as can be sitting here blogging! Well I better get going. Just wanted to share a few things to come for 2009. I'm super excited I'm working on a 2008 favorites post New website is in the works!!! YIPEE! I'm also changing the business name (you get to pick it!) I'll have a survey up soon hopefully Also I'm going to New York for a wedding this year!! I'm super pumped (Claire I know you're out there! Can't wait to meet you)
We were watching the news a few nights ago and the new mega million winners we on. As everyone knows by now they are from Piqua Ohio!!! Isn't that so cool? Well anyway one of the women winners were being interviewed and I said I think I know here, she looks really familiar. Which when you work with tons people a year, usually means nothing. But this time I really did know who it was!!! A former groom's mom! So congrats to her and her family! I couldn't imagine a sweeter family!
Ok so I've had two interviews with redheaded brides but I'm booked for both of their dates =( Keep sending them my way guys!!! I don't care where they are from, just get them to me and we'll work something out. Ok some facts about Redheads: ♥Only 2% of all Americans have red hair and only 4% of the world's entire population! (wow that would explain why I haven't photographed a redheaded bride yet lol) ♥Redheads have the least amount of hairs on their heads but the thickest of all colors ♥Red headedness is a recessive trait. It may appear after several generations of darker hair. ♥The perception of the color red, scientifically speaking, enhances the viewers metabolism and increases heart rate and respiration. (this one is funny =) )
Ok so I had a December wedding planned but some unfortunate circumstances have taken place and they couple had to postpone the wedding. You know what that means?? With the time I've scheduled off I won't have a wedding for a few months!! I'm going to get caught up on some much needed family time. Yesterday I finished working on my last wedding and I announced "that's it I'm all finished" Mason and Branson jump up and down yelling YEAH MOMMY'S ALL DONE WITH PICTURES!! LOL Poor kids. I am so enjoying this too. It's so nice to just be with my family without deadlines. I think I'm going to get caught up on friend time too. Joni perhaps I'll take a road trip out to see you? Tracy, let's plan something super fun! Renee, how about a family get together? I miss my girls! K, so my next photo shoots won't be until it snows, so "let it snow, let it snow"! ♥ you all bunches!!!
So I'm finally getting caught up on my family stuff!! As many of you may know my husband turned 30 this year, so I threw a surprise 70's party for him. It was a bunch of fun and I was so glad to share it with our friends and family

I believe in love. I cry when I see it’s presence in photographs of people I don’t even know. I believe love can be touched with the eyes as they move across the well told story of a photograph. That’s what I want to do… I want to tell love stories with my photographs.
I know Jesus in my heart and through him I know how to change lives. All the beauty I see is because of the stability and inspiration of my home life. Family is so very important to me. They are what makes me complete, my foundation and my encouragement. It is because of them that I know a great love story while looking through a lens.
