I want a vehicle just for my business =)

It would be so nice not to have to fish the petrified chicken nuggets or the mumified fruit snacks from the car before I leave lol! Maybe it's the smell of my vehicle that sends me into the business car thoughts, I never know what that smell is! Well whatever the cause it sure would be nice, so I'll venture out to the Brookville picnic and try to win the blazer they are given away. Wish me luck!

In a few minutes I'm leaving for the beautiful ceremony of Josh and Amanda! I'm so excited guys and I know it's going to be amazing!

Yes, our church had a fire and thanks to God that everyone is ok. The older half of the building will be out of service for a few days. Unfortunately that is where we do all the cooking and food service. You know how things go when God starts changing lives... that's when stuff like this happens!
We aren't stopping though, you can still join us for all the regularly scheduled camp meeting service times if you like!

It was a fairy tale...

I'll start this post with a HUGE thank you to all my...(I almost said clients) but by now all of you are so much more!) so to all my friends thank you for your patience as I catch up on sessions. Your kindness is so very appreciated.

I have been so blessed this year to have shot more than a couple of emotional weddings, the kind that when I get home and sort through the pics, I have to wipe tears from my eyes. Today was one of those weddings, just a fairytale in every way. Beautiful bride handsome groom, promises made and kept, loving parents and giving and devoted church family and AMAZING pictures. I don't know if I can even do justice to the day in my explanation. It was over 90 degrees and yet the bride and groom still venture to Cox Arboretum and rock out the session! I had an AMAZING assistant, (Lydia I love you and am so very blessed to have you with me)! She made my whole day a thousand times easier.
I feel so very overwhelmed with emotions, I don't know if it is just the heat getting to me or that this wedding reminded me so much of my sister-in-laws wedding, but I know I witnessed love in so many ways today and I am blessed to have experienced it! Thank you Leah for sharing it with me.
I also just want to praise God for helping me with today. I asked that he would allow me to see Cox with fresh eyes today because I have been feeling tired of going there. He really did let me do just that, I felt so very inspired:

Male Photographers have it made!!!!!!!!!!!

That's what I'm thinking as I just finish straightening my hair, removing my nail polish and putting on another color to match my outfit for tomorrows wedding, picking out and packing the outfit then picking the right shoes! ARRRRRRRRRRRRR I need to go to bed lol!

The LOVELY Leah is getting married tomorrow and I just can't wait. I hope we get a bunch of rockin pics! See you in a few hours girly!

Makes it all worth while!

I love what I do but I will be the first to tell you that during June-July I struggle. This is such a popular time for senior pictures, weddings and family events that I stay really really busy. I struggle with family time and business time. Every year around this time I ask myself the same question "Can I handle it?" but then you get people who take time to tell you what the work means to them and it makes all my time and love I put into it worth it! Thanks to all my friends/ customers that have left me love here are a few I loved:

Melissa- you take the best pictures!!! I thank GOD that we found you!...the pictures are terrific!!

Brandi and Bryan:
Awww you make us looks so cute and such a great family!!! When I was little and we would go get our pics done I would look up at the walls and think I wanna be one of those families ~ and look now we are!

Nikki and Eric's engagement preview

Oh my gosh! This was such a great session! Nikki and Eric drove all the way from Pittsburg and then went straight into a photo session. Let me just say WOW for having drove all that way, you two were still smoking HOT! I loved your session and meeting you guys. Nikki you are so very beautiful and sweet and I just can't wait for the wedding! Meeting people like you guys makes me remember why I work so hard to deliver great pictures! Thanks so much for just being great to work with! Ok so now the good stuff:

My beloved friend Erin gave birth in the wee hours in of the morning on Thursday July 2nd and I was so blessed to be there for the whole thing. I think that is the most precious experience you can share with a friend and my heart will never be the same! Erin and Jesse, allowing me to share that moment with you was the most precious gift you could have ever given me. Thank you and I will never ever forget how special that moment was. (Mainly because I was in a corner crying out loud with Erin's Dad and StepMom lol)
