If I would have thought about it I would have gotten a picture of what an adult thinks about it. Totally different you can be sure.

Hi guys,
I wanted to put these up so you could get it in the paper. I just went through and pulled out a few that were more traditional. Check them out and let me know what you think!
You guys are so cute!

Look who turned 1!!!!
I love this one
Aww she's so small
The fall colors were amazing
This one cracks me up. We were doing some shots of just Jason and Sarah when I glanced Morgan sitting here crying like "hey why are you guys taking pictures without me?" lol
A little doll
Aww!
She's just so cute!
She had a little bear and we thought we could steal it away for a few pics.... obviously it didn't work
Like this one too
Daddy flies Morgan around a lot so I think this is a perfect shot
Momma's love
Love this
And this
I brought some fall colored balloons without anticipating how bad the wind would be, but I did get a few good ones
Peek-a-boo
Tried some texture on this one
Yall come back now

Thanksgiving
I've heard that your business blog should be just that... Business. However I disagree this is a small space for me to be me and who I am is not all photography. I'm a Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Friend, and Christian. Sometimes the line is so fine you can't separate it. This has been one of those years. I adore all of you that I reach out to in this blog. You have allowed me to be who I am and right now it's mostly just a girl having a weak moment. So will you sit with me while I endure the cloud
I was sitting with my son watching a video about Thanksgiving and I couldn't help but tear up when it was described how the Pilgrims were just thankful to have enough food to eat and the dream of accomplishing a future freedom for religion. I am so spoiled and unworthy.
This year has been so hard and sometimes the cloud around me has been very dark. Sometimes you smile but on the inside you couldn't turn that frown upside down if you wanted. I don't want it to overwhelm me so if I could I'd like to take a few minutes to just be thankful during this Thanksgiving:
♥ I'm so thankful that my Dad asked the Lord Jesus Christ into his heart and now I have sweet assurance that we'll be together in heaven when our time here is over.
♥ I'm so thankful that Dad made it out of the hospital and has taken some big steps to heal his body and broken heart. I realize that I could have been spending this Thanksgiving without my brother, my uncle AND my Dad. (thank you God for letting us keep him)
♥My wonderful church family, you carry me with your prayers.
♥Friends with beautiful hearts (thanks for showing them to me)
♥Sisters blood or not
♥Photography (sometimes during a shoot, my heart is light and I'm normal)
♥My babies
I feel better already

Yeah Alan and Lindsey I'm all finished!!!!
LOVE this one
These guys were so fun
I mean could she be any more beautiful!
Trying out borders
I am so happy we found some sunflowers! Yipee
Girl stuff lol
That's mom and dad watching their baby girl say forever
Again such a fun bunch
What kiss my sister???
Hotness
Fall shadows
Ok I love this picture for so many reasons. A few:
They decided to run down an isle lined with sparklers but they didn't anticipate this much smoke but when they got to the end Lindsey's brother dumped a whole bag of rice on them!! Also if you look behind them her Dad is running over with the fire extinguisher!! Not sure if one of them got a little singed or what!!
Didn't hear what was said but the reaction was great!
Slide show coming soon!!!

About Me
- Melissa
- Wife, mother, photographer based out of Dayton Ohio. Will travel =)
I believe in love. I cry when I see it’s presence in photographs of people I don’t even know. I believe love can be touched with the eyes as they move across the well told story of a photograph. That’s what I want to do… I want to tell love stories with my photographs.
I know Jesus in my heart and through him I know how to change lives. All the beauty I see is because of the stability and inspiration of my home life. Family is so very important to me. They are what makes me complete, my foundation and my encouragement. It is because of them that I know a great love story while looking through a lens.
