A MEGA small world!!!
We were watching the news a few nights ago and the new mega million winners we on. As everyone knows by now they are from Piqua Ohio!!! Isn't that so cool? Well anyway one of the women winners were being interviewed and I said I think I know here, she looks really familiar. Which when you work with tons people a year, usually means nothing.
But this time I really did know who it was!!! A former groom's mom! So congrats to her and her family! I couldn't imagine a sweeter family!

Red HOT search update!!
Ok so I've had two interviews with redheaded brides but I'm booked for both of their dates =( Keep sending them my way guys!!! I don't care where they are from, just get them to me and we'll work something out.
Ok some facts about Redheads:
♥Only 2% of all Americans have red hair and only 4% of the world's entire population! (wow that would explain why I haven't photographed a redheaded bride yet lol)
♥Redheads have the least amount of hairs on their heads but the thickest of all colors
♥Red headedness is a recessive trait. It may appear after several generations of darker hair.
♥ The perception of the color red, scientifically speaking, enhances the viewers metabolism and increases heart rate and respiration. (this one is funny =) )

Ahhhh a bit of down time
Ok so I had a December wedding planned but some unfortunate circumstances have taken place and they couple had to postpone the wedding. You know what that means?? With the time I've scheduled off I won't have a wedding for a few months!! I'm going to get caught up on some much needed family time. Yesterday I finished working on my last wedding and I announced "that's it I'm all finished" Mason and Branson jump up and down yelling YEAH MOMMY'S ALL DONE WITH PICTURES!! LOL Poor kids.
I am so enjoying this too. It's so nice to just be with my family without deadlines. I think I'm going to get caught up on friend time too. Joni perhaps I'll take a road trip out to see you? Tracy, let's plan something super fun! Renee, how about a family get together? I miss my girls!
K, so my next photo shoots won't be until it snows, so "let it snow, let it snow"!
♥ you all bunches!!!

Finished!! Yipee!!
Ok I love this engagement session for so many reasons, but the best being that it has so much personal connection to their relationship.
Their fist meeting...
My favorite shot from the whole day!!!!
The actual table where they spotted each other lol!
Hot!
Awww
The site of the first kiss!
Love this story board sequence! They sit by each other. They glance at one another. They go for the kiss
This is so funny! Ok so Julia is Jewish and during the trip in which they got engaged Jeremy had this shirt made that says: Together for ever Jeremy and JEWlia lol!
This is my second fav!
Close third
I like this one a lot too
Cute
Julia you are so adorable!
Oh my look at those eyes!

Forget love I'd rather fall in chocolate
Ok so I've been asking my new brides to send emails about themselves and how they met, before the e-session is to take place. I can't tell you how much it has changed my e-sessios!! It gives me the inside on who they are as a couple and it gives me a bunch of time to think up super cute ideas!
K, so the fist thing that caught my eye in Julia's email was this line:
My headline on myspace was"forget love I'd rather fall in chocolate." After we said our good byes I got another message from him and it said " P.s. Id pick love over chocolate any day." How cute is that?!!?
Loved it and of course I had to use it so on that note:
I think they are my new go to couple when I have a crazy idea lol! They went with all my ideas and added their own flavor. Julia deciding if Love outweighed her love of chocolate!
I ♥ this one!
And this one!
The way they laughed and played with each other reminded me just how fun love really is.
Julia you can do a serious picture!!
Hotness
Awww
Ok this is smokin
Snugglin
Teheeee
Jeremy is so funny
I can tell he is so very in love
Cute how she has to stand on her tippy toes to kiss him
Then final preview coming soon!!!

So here is a snapshot Trav and he did a real good job getting the kids to be normal but why oh why do I do the fake smile? I hate the fake smile no I loath the fake smile yet I do the fake smile??? Mental note to self...I will not do this for my real photo session lol!

Doan and Kyle: Traditional wedding
If you follow my blog I'm sure you know by now that I sometimes become emotionally involved in my weddings. I find it hard not to. I meet these amazing couples sometimes a year or more before their weddings, I spend time getting to know them and their love stories. Most times it becomes a friendship and that's exactly how I feel about Doan and Kyle. I am so blessed to have met them. I watched Doan on her wedding day as tears streamed down her face in happy moments, in moments when she became so overwhelmed by the generosity of others and I watched Kyle watching her. I could just tell that Doan truly is a gift to him, he cherishes her.
I met so many wonderful people at this wedding, I can't imagine a family more warm or inviting than this. During the Vietnamese ceremony Kyle's Dad had a moment to say a few things and what he said I think sums up the feeling between the two families. He said his family's best dream was coming true that day and that was Doan becoming a permanent part of the family. (I tearing up right now). My gosh can you imagine anything more beautiful?
Oh and my vote for the world's best hugger goes to Doan! I miss you dear =(
Chatting with the girls
Feeling like a giddy bride lol!
Now that's some big hair! (we were at Karma... again lol) P.S. if you go there ask for Lisa Marie. I ♥ her
L♥ve this! She had a ballerina moment lol
Such a sweet moment
This combines two of my current obsessions, shoes and reflections
Another sweet moment Mom putting Doan's shoes on.
OH MY GOSH!!! What dolls!
Could they get any more adorable
Love this shot of Kyle with the guys in the background
More doll babies
Look guys he smiled!
I ♥ this one too
I couldn't resist these door ways
We had to get some with the art. We were at the ART institute lol
Like this one too
Ok these guys crack me up
I used a lot of textures for this wedding... must have been inspired by the art institute
lol!
Hotness!
And the end!
Slide show coming soon!!!!

I believe in love. I cry when I see it’s presence in photographs of people I don’t even know. I believe love can be touched with the eyes as they move across the well told story of a photograph. That’s what I want to do… I want to tell love stories with my photographs.
I know Jesus in my heart and through him I know how to change lives. All the beauty I see is because of the stability and inspiration of my home life. Family is so very important to me. They are what makes me complete, my foundation and my encouragement. It is because of them that I know a great love story while looking through a lens.
