So my editing program is broke
Yet I still manage to stay up until 2:30 in the morning lol. I really should be thankful it broke, I had a ton of ordering and small stuff to get through. Maybe tomorrow I'll take the day off and go do something fun.
I really want to post some of the personal stuff my family, friends and I have been doing. We had my husband's 30th birthday party and that was a bunch of fun complete with a ton of great pics. My sister in law was in town and we had a photo session, I have a ton of my boys being boys and those are always good. I was invited to my girlfriends' youngest daughter's birthday party as the honored roll of game leader, it was so precious to me to be asked to be a part of it, and the pics are just way too much fun. Let's see what else... oh yeah I had my 10 year class reunion, it was so great to see some of my old friends. Our group that we teach at church finished up another year. Right now we are gearing up for Mason's first year of school and camp meeting at our church, which reminds me you can visit our church website at www.charitybaptist.org If you would like to visit we are located at 1600 Brownleigh Road in Kettering Ohio.
Oh and one of my friends recently got engaged and I am so honored that she has asked me to photograph her special day. It's going to be so special and filled with so much meaning for me. Oh and she has decided to have her wedding on July 19th which is only a few weeks away but I am sooooooo excited about this wedding because she is up for anything and pictures are so very important to her so I know I'm going to have a ton of time to work out some of my most craziest ideas! (I'm stock piling ideas as we speak).
Much love to all my blog readers =) Pray for me as I work out my photoshop probs, please

Are you a daring bride
So I was thinking about the “Trash the Dress” sessions that are becoming so very popular. All the while, looking in my closet at my beautiful hand beaded wedding dress, 6ft train and all. Memories of the day flooded my mind. I was lost in a vision of me standing with my daughter, explaining why every detail was so important and exclaiming “look at mommy's princess dress!!” While I know she may never wear my dress, there still is something very sentimental about having it here physically. (Also very nice to have it here every year so that I can try it on and dance around behind the locked door of my bedroom LOL!) Hey, it’s who I am and the thought of “Trashing” my dress or yours is just way too stressful.
Although, I do love the artistic movement of the pictures and appreciate the fresh ideas. There is just something about the contrast that draws me in, but I believe the same picture can be achieved without completely trashing the dress.
So if you enjoy the idea of taking your wedding dress out again and getting some edgy picture without complete distruction of your dress, listen up (or read up =) ) I am going to be offering a very tame version called “Daring bridal sessions” You may leave with a dry cleaners bill, but you will also leave with the beautiful dress in hand. So if you are a “Daring Bride” who wants to get some great post wedding pics with your dress I would love to hear from you!
Here are just a few from a great session with the beautiful Mandy:

3rd time's the charm...
I think that's how that saying goes lol.
I had the most amazing wedding Saturday in Cleveland! It was my third wedding with this family and I just adore them. It was so nice to see everyone again and just fit in. It was like I was amongst friends. Not only did I just adore being with them but the wedding had so much significance to me. I knew some of their history and some of the trials they had been through and I meant every laugh I laughed with them as well as every tear I cried. While I'm sitting here editing the pictures, I've come across more than a few that have given me goose bumps as I remember the moment.
There were so many amazing moments as well as some crazy moments, so I'll just name a few and you can put them in which ever category you want lol:
Crazy amazing photo op with an antique fire truck! (you can't see but I'm squealing) =)
One of the most BEAUTIFUL rings I've ever seen (notice the blue accents)
We were involved in a rear end accident! That's right... the grooms men's golf cart rammed into ours! OUCH! I didn't know golf carts could go that fast. I still cringe when I see this picture. (note that it knocked out their windshield!)
Amazing sunset shots!
All three of my wedding couples
Caitlin, my first bride with this family, was pregnant! And she was so adorable
***This was a very small sneak peek!! MUCH MUCH MORE to follow!!!!*****

Something cool
I have a sitemeter for this blog and it is able to tell a generic location for visitors. Well I have been checking weekly and I noticed that I'm getting hits from Iran, Israel and Sweden! Who would have thunk it lol my little blog! Isn't that wonderful.
Ok, so I'm working on a few small things but my next wedding isn't until Saturday and it's going to be awesome! Well, anyway I've had the past few days to just relax and do what I want. It's kinda crazy, I almost didn't know what to do with myself lol! It didn't last long though, my sister in law is in town with my beautiful niece and cute little nephew, so we visited the Boonshoft Museum and my niece spent the night with us. Since I have boys it was a real treat getting to have another chick in the house. We had to have some "girl time" of course and it was just a bunch of fun. I love you Bryleigh!

I just can't help myself
I have to post a few more from Jessica and AJ's wedding
During the wedding
The sky was just beautiful
I'm still learning about textures so I tried some out on this one
Rebels =) LOL
I watched this little guy and he was a great photographer. It cracked me up
Ok, Trav came with me and during the wedding he was my second shooter and he did such a great job. I was off to the side and he shot from the back and this is a great shot he got of the first married kiss
Oh and he thinks he is clever: He took this one and said it means "wedding photographer" LOL what a dork!

New Ideas
Ok so I've been thinking about some cool ideas to try out and I really want to do a photo shoot with the guys and I think these canes and top hats would be fun. (Leah Patton this would be great for your wedding)
Look into it and if any of my grooms want to try it out get it contact with me and we'll get it together.

I believe in love. I cry when I see it’s presence in photographs of people I don’t even know. I believe love can be touched with the eyes as they move across the well told story of a photograph. That’s what I want to do… I want to tell love stories with my photographs.
I know Jesus in my heart and through him I know how to change lives. All the beauty I see is because of the stability and inspiration of my home life. Family is so very important to me. They are what makes me complete, my foundation and my encouragement. It is because of them that I know a great love story while looking through a lens.
